The New Belvedere 10 Vodka Steals The Limelight With Its Multifaceted Bottle Design

Founded by Dawid and Mejer Pines in May 1910, Belvedere is crafted in one of the world’s longest-operating Polish distilleries producing only vodka. Its story traces back to 600 years ago, when Polish vodka makers added rye to the recipe, creating the exquisite flavour we taste today. Belvedere then characterised their vodka with notes of almond, vanilla and white pepper, creating an outstanding liquor that’s subtly sweet, velvety and extremely smooth with a clean finish. Today, Belvedere is known globally for its contemporary and stylish attributes, catering to the nightlife scene.

Given this superior creation, Belvedere has taken the brand up a notch with a new ultra-premium vodka, the Belvedere 10. This liquid brilliance is crafted using a rather meticulous 10-step process—giving Belvedere 10 its name. To preserve exclusivity, Belvedere 10 is only made annually in small batches from one harvest.

The Belvedere 10 production starts with the harvesting of organic Dankowskie Diamond rye that’s grown on a single field in Poland. The rye is planted every August at the Bartężek estate in Poland’s Masurian Lake District and is cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices. The selected rye then goes through the heating process, over a gentle fire with water, before being fermented in the distillery. Furthermore, Belvedere uses a unique distiller’s yeast and enzymes to create a rye spirit loaded with flavours. Then comes the quadruple distillation to elevate the character, depth and dimension of the rye, before the filtration process, where every drop passes through natural cellulose filters. After the distillation process, it is left to rest for 10 months to enhance and develop its exceptional texture and smoothness before bottling.

These intricate distillation processes and flavouring give Belvedere 10 the indulgent notes of rich dark cacao, vanilla and a hint of fresh lemon. It is smooth and light, yet creamy with a burst of sweetness from green coffee on the first sip. Over time, the vodka reveals balancing notes of honey caramel and coconut, finishing with a slight hint of cinnamon that lingers. Belvedere 10 is best savoured on the rocks or neat when chilled.

I’m drawn to drinks with sweet, citrusy notes and Belvedere 10 fits that profile. The light and smooth finish makes this vodka an easy sipper and would pair perfectly with any mixer. I, however, prefer it neat to appreciate the peppery, floral and tangy aroma that the vodka leaves behind.

This luxurious vodka is presented in a captivating multifaceted opaque, white bottle. Standing tall at 16in, it is designed to look like a diamond bar—representing opulence and extravagance—that’s protected in a black velvet bag. When the vodka finishes, the stunning bottle could double as a display piece in your living room.
