Porsche Ownership Simplified: With A New Leasing Alternative, You’ll Never Worry About Resale Value

Porsche Cognoscenti Set a new record

Sportscar Together Day was originally conceived to commemorate Porsche’s 70th anniversary last year. With appealing attractions for Porsche fans both young and old, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) recreated this carnival-like celebration at the Sepang Circuit on 3 August 2019. Event day highlights included a new record for the ‘Largest Porsche Gathering’ with  320 sportscars on the Sepang straight, and the introduction of SDAP’s 360 Leasing program.

Billed as a new alternative for modern mobility, this novel financing programme allows customers and companies to revel in the latest Porsche model for three years or 60,000 km, whichever comes first, without worrying about resale value. For added incentive, clients who sign up for 360 Leasing not only enjoy competitive rates, but are also covered by a comprehensive insurance package that includes windscreen and natural disaster cover, road tax, and 24-hour roadside assistance by Porsche Assist in the event of an emergency.

Enjoying a 2000-strong attendance, Sportscar Together Day also showed off iconic cars from the brand’s 70 year history, such as the 911 GT3 Cup race car, eight generations of the 911, the 919 Hybrid and the Mission E 1:3 scale model. Together with a Porsche Junior Experience platform, the event also encouraged young children to understand the Porsche DNA though fun-filled play.

Alongside festivities, SDAP took the opportunity to unveil the new Macan S three-litre V6 turbocharged SUV priced at RM625,000, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. With the turbocharger positioned in-between the cylinder banks, an already urgent throttle response becomes even more so, especially with an available 354 horses and 480 Nm of torque to rustle up. Featuring staggered width tyres and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus as an option, this car promises to up the ante on performance focused SUVs.
