At Mantra Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Bangsar Village, an electrifying atmosphere set the stage for Robb Report Malaysia and Honduras Premium Cigars’ (HPC Cigars) Havana Nights, where specially invited guests were taken on a journey of the cigar aficionado.

At the bar, Cuban rum by Ron la Progresiva 13 took guests to the shores of the Caribbean, with hints of vanilla, caramel, and cocoa intertwined with notes of fine oak, served neat. Spanish reds and whites—from Laderas de Romeo Monastrell, Balu Verd ECO, and Ontanon Crianza to Bomba Chardonnay and Castro Martin Sobre Lias—by Spanish Cellar offered earthy and floral notes to the evening, while Colombian Arabica coffee bean-infused European eau de vie from Nocturne Noir added its own spark to the occasion.

Guests were brought home with the refreshing taste of Sarawak-brewed beer by 1602, its smooth lager specially developed for local palates, making it the ideal quaff for the Malaysian heat.

The pièce de résistance of the night lay in the hand-rolled, Honduran tobacco cigars from HPC Cigars that filled the room. Each guest had their pick of the White Label, Mayan Legacy, and 1765 variants, with guests enjoying premium aged tobaccos sourced from Copán, Jamastran, Talanga, and Azacualpa.

Amid the music and Italian and Spanish tapas by Spanish Cellar, the evening’s tabagie brought guests closer together through conversation, dancing, and drinks.

As guests moved around the space, a dedicated grooming experience by Ramitta Elite gave them a chance to wind down between tapas and cigars, alongside Kuala Cola soda and artisanal coffee from Miss Coco Cafe. Authentic Italian-style gelato was served by Dolce Dulce Treats, its signature Crema Catalana flavour adding a Spanish twist to the traditional Italian dessert, while Maison Majesté provided welcome flutes of non-alcoholic (0% ABV) wines and champagnes.

The evening wrapped up with a lucky draw, where guests won stays at Villa Dani, a six-bedroom place located in Genting Highlands, worth RM20,000 per night, as well as treatments from X&Y clinic, boxes of HPC cigars, a bottle of Nocturne Noir, and a full set of grooming treatments from Ramitta Elite. Before leaving, guests received carefully curated gift bags with mooncakes from Imperial Patisserie and treatments from X&Y and Ramitta Elite, alongside plenty of memories of the night’s Spanish luxury.
