Book A Seat At The World’s Longest Lunch
The World’s Longest Lunch is back this year on 24 March at the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. Alla Wolf-Tasker, founder of Lake House restaurant, will be headlining this culinary extravaganza, which started in 1993. All diners will sit together on a 600-metre table in Melbourne’s Treasury Gardens. A VIP Experience is also available, in which guests will enjoy a transfer to the lunch from anywhere within a 50km radius, reserve wines from Tahbilk, goodie bags and a signed copy of Wolf-Tasker’s book. In addition, the new World’s Longest Brunch will be held on 25 March, led by owner-chef Natalie Paull of Beatrix Bakes. Guests will be served Paul’s ideal morning meal, followed by what she calls a ‘Cakewoman’s Breakfast’, and will end with ‘Cake for Breakfast’.
