watch out!
January is just around the corner, and that can only mean one thing for the Swiss city of Geneva: SIHH is coming to town once again. The 29th edition of SIHH (more formally known as Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) will, as always, feature a curated gathering of maisons both historic and modern. It is an event that enables exhibitors to showcase their latest collections and for watch enthusiasts, insiders and media to preview the trends of the upcoming year. For 2019, the fair promises to improve upon its impressive recent success: last year saw a record attendance of just under 20,000 visitors and 35 exhibitors.
This year will also boast of 35 brands. As ever, the Richemont stable will be well-represented, including the likes of A Lange & Sohne, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Panerai and Montblanc. Other independent brands taking part are FP Journe, H Moser & Cie, MB&F and URWERK. Notably, this is also the last year that Richard Mille and Audemars Piguet intend to take part.
SIHH 2019 will take place at the Palexpo exhibition centre from 14-17 January 2019. Like last year, there will be a day open to the public: from 3pm to 10pm on Thursday 17 th January. Those interested can register online at the SIHH website.
